Alama Sea Village Resort

We had a beautiful and spacious room in an awesome location . We loved the terrace below our room and the sea view! The beach offered gentle waves one could body surf on and was wide enough for beach games. Huge pool with a view of the ocean. Highly recommended!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The grounds were beautiful and the accommodations were comfortable.

There were no chairs in the room or on the porch. The porch had a hammock and a bean bag for seating, but having a chair or two would have been desirable.

Great location to the beach. Rooms were large. Laundry service was a plus and fast.

Room was very hot during the day. Breakfast could use some improvement as some items were sitting out for a while, and coffee machine could use an upgrade.

Nice cabin, nice pool, quiet location, not near good beach nor good restaurants

Staff nor too well trained, makes things complicated for example in terms of asking for daily basic things, it is understandable when comunicate in a foreing language. But what we found not nice was that After 3 nigths staying, renting a motorbike with them, booking the transfer with them, we asked for extra 30 minutes late check-out to leave at the same time the hotel transfer leaves, and they say NO. Not a big deal, but not a great client oriented place to stay, considering the little extra time we requested (check out is at 11)

The location was excellent and the bungalows were beautiful. The pool was amazing ing and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately there was not a real chair other than a hammock and bean bag and my husband has a bad back so that was challenging.

central and close to everything. the staff!!! the staff are incredible and so helpful. really enjoyed that we had laundry available and being able to rent scooters was really helpful. we had some incredible meals while we were there and the pool is beautiful. beds were extremely comfortable and i loved that we had a porch/hammock to start our day with coffee!

the hot water didn’t last long so having more than one shower wasn’t really an option. the bedding needs to be changed as it’s ripped and has seen better days but minimal overall

Amazing hotel, very clean with beautiful views, Mrs. Nee in reception was super helpful with great attitude. She always supported us if were anything needed.

Staff were really nice , bungalow was always clean and tidy, just like the photos , breakfast was really nice and restaurant food was good and beds were comfy to sleep in , aircon was good in the room, we loved the pool & pool area . We hired a motorbike to go around the island

The hotel is in an amazing location, in a very relaxed area and close to one of the best beaches in Koh Lanta. The beach has a bar with a fire show every night at 20:30. The villas are gorgeous and very comfortable with AC, a fan, Netflix, hairdryer. The view is beautiful and the rooms are full of light. The pool is perfect and they provide beach/pool towels.

Breakfast is not so complete in terms of more Mediterranean options. They don't have refrigerated things like milk, yogurts and no ice. They also don't have oat milk.

The location was very close to beautiful beaches in the south west cost and very good restaurants. The views from the hotel are nice. The guy that picked us up from the pier to the hotel was very nice and smiling, he was very helpful.

The staff from reception and breakfast seemed always angry or annoyed, generally unhelpful. The breakfast trays were taking long time to be refilled so not many options were available sometimes.Air conditioning was not functioning properly, it was a bit warm in the room.There is a smell in the bathroom and the rooms are not cleaned while your stay.It’s a pity because the hotel is very nice and has a lot of potential.

This is one of the best places I've stayed at in recent times - amazing lux thai style/teak bungalow, amazing pool, great access to some of the nicest beaches on the island, great value. Could have easily stayed here a full month just chilling. This turned out to be such a great choice.

We loved the hut accommodation, so much space with the underneath hammock area. Pool area is stunning and so cheap for what you get. The bedroom was comfy and great to have AC and a fan.

Had to buy our own water everyday but they do give you 2 small complimentary bottles each day. Not awful just a faff! The bathroom area gets very hot as there’s no fan or AC down on that level.

I only can tell good things about Alama Sea Village Resort. We stayed for 3 nights in bungalow number 3. The bungalow was super in shape and clean. View from the pool was stunning. Staff very nice. In total an absolute amazing resort. We came back for another weekend already.

It is a nice location, calm but still with food options, beach and a 7/11 close. The view from the restaurant also is very nice. We used the service for pickup from our hotel in Kao Sok national park which worked out great! Even though it was rather pricy.

Sadly in the first room we had we could hear neighboring people, the AC did not work and the toilet only had a shower curtain to cover. The bed was very hard. So that’s something to consider. For us that was a nogo on our honeymoon. Also no arrangement or nice comment was made even though we spend our honeymoon there. We bought an upgrade onsite for 300 Bath to one of the „treehouses“. They are nice, also the mattress was a lot better and the AC worked almost too good. Water pressure was not amazing but good enough. This will probably not be a place to stay with kids as there are loads of stairs to climb. Also the staff when having requests were able to speak English but via WhatsApp communication was more than difficult but fast at least. The breakfast is extremely basic, butter eg is not cooled. We decided to use nearby restaurants for most of the mornings. Tuesday morning for example was amazing.

Millions of stairs to walk, bad English of staff, horrible restaurant, rooms not according to presentation in web. Had to insist to move but had to pay more.

Very nice rooms. You can see the beach from the pool. Staff helpful. You can rent cheap motos from the hotel and you probably will because the location is a bit far from everything else and taxis are pricey. Good choice to book day trips from the reception as we got a decent discount compared to the offer on the tour operators website.

Breakfast was very basic. Nowhere to go on foot besides the Kantiang beach.

The structure of the room meant it got hot very easily and even with A/C took a long time to cool down but nonetheless the room had lovely views.
